Bali ideas……

The drivers/taxi will know where to take you if you just tell them the name of the place your going. Some of the places listed will require a booking and the Villa staff will be happy to make these arrangements for you.

Restaurants or cafes

Bali Deli….Great coffees and place to eat- look for the garden eating area out the back. Carries a great selection of food and wine to buy and take back to your villa. Easy location to get to and an absolute must!!!

La Luciolas, Seminyak…Excellent Italian restaurant located right on the beach…very impressive ( booking required)! Phone: 361 730838

Echo Beach – restaurant on the beach at Canggu , great on Sunday afternoon , local crowd – lounge music followed by local bands. Relax and watch the sunset over the ocean. 10 mins from Vila.  “Far away in time……!!!”

Gado Gado, Seminyak….good food but especially famous for their deserts. Located close to La Luciolas , right on the beach. Phone:  361 736966

Ku De Ta, Seminyak….Located right on the beach…great place to have sunset drinks

Zanzibar, Seminyak ( close to Jalan Double 6 – nightclub). Alfresco café again right on the beach. Great for breakfast, brunch or dinner… There are a few café’s beside Zanzibar that are also very good!

Ubud – Naughty Nuries – a warung (local restaurant) known for its great ribs and margarita’s.

Beaches – All are good – some quieter areas are along the Bukit – as series of little coves heading to Ulawatu .Names include  Impossibles, Dreamland, Berigin– white sand,  snorkeling over reef, surfing, quaint facilities.

Shopping along the main road in Seminyak is excellent. You can walk along the street where there’s lots of designer shops with clothing, swimwear and homewares. Poppies lane in Kuta have the market style vendors

Havelli’s (Seminyak) is a beautiful Indian shop that has gorgeous homeware…a must!

Ubud – general crafty places.

Kuta Square has lots of stores and good shopping!

A great magazine to buy is “ The Yak” and is available at Bali deli or grocery stores.. It has all the places to go and what’s happening in Seminyak area .
